Dead Air
The Dead Air Armament Ghost Piston in M13.5x1 left-hand thread lets you get maximum versatility out of your Ghost-M suppressor. Instead of being locked into a single host rifle, you can swap pistons to move your suppressor between different firearms with different barrel threads—all without tools or guesswork. This piston is precision machined to Dead Air's tight tolerances and finished in black to match the suppressor body.
If you're running multiple rifles or planning to upgrade barrels down the line, a piston swap is faster and cheaper than buying a second suppressor. The Ghost-M platform was designed around this modularity, so you get the consistency and sound signature you know, just adapted to your current setup.
The M13.5x1 left-hand thread is a metric specification common on European and some precision rifle builds. Make sure your barrel is actually cut for this thread before ordering—using the wrong piston will result in a poor fit and won't mount safely.
| Thread Pattern | M13.5x1 Left Hand | |
| Finish | Black (Matte) | |
| Suppressor Compatibility | Ghost-M Series | |
| Model Number | DA402 |
No. This piston is designed specifically for Ghost-M series suppressors. Other Dead Air models use different rear assemblies and piston designs.
Left-hand thread means the piston screws on counterclockwise (the opposite of standard right-hand threads). Your rifle barrel must be cut with left-hand threads for this piston to fit correctly. Check your barrel documentation or have a gunsmith confirm before purchasing.
Yes. As long as your different host rifles all have M13.5x1 left-hand threaded barrels, you can unscrew this piston from one rifle, screw it onto another, and attach your Ghost-M suppressor to the new host. Each rifle needs the same thread spec for this to work seamlessly.
You receive the Ghost Piston only. The suppressor itself is sold separately.
