The CZ Shadow 2 9mm is a steel-frame, competition-focused semi-automatic pistol built for shooters who demand precision and reliability. This optics-ready variant comes pre-cut for an optic plate system, making it an excellent choice for USPSA Carry Optics competitors and anyone looking to run a red dot sight on a duty or carry platform. With its 4.89-inch cold hammer-forged barrel, ambidextrous manual safety, and single-action/double-action trigger mechanism, the Shadow 2 delivers the accuracy and ergonomics that have made it a favorite among serious pistol competitors.

What sets this model apart is CZ's commitment to tight tolerances and hand-fitting. The barrel bushing increases slide-to-barrel fit for tighter shot groups, while the factory-tuned trigger features a short reset for crisp, predictable breaks. The slide wears a nitride finish for durability, and the steel frame is coated with black polycoat. You get fiber optic front sights paired with a serrated, adjustable HAJO rear sight—elevation adjustable for drift, windage adjustable for zeroing. The signature thin aluminum grips are checkered throughout, matching the fine checkering on the frame's frontstrap and backstrap for positive control.

The Shadow 2's swappable mag release is extended and adjustable across three positions, so you can dial in the placement that feels most natural to your grip. It ships with three 17-round nickel-plated magazines, giving you a solid foundation to hit the range or competition immediately. At 46.5 ounces and 8.53 inches overall, it balances weight and control without being unwieldy for carry or sport shooting.
