The CZ 1020 G2 20-gauge semi-auto shotgun is built on the same inertia-driven platform that proved itself in the heavier 1012 G2, but reengineered around a compact 20-gauge receiver. If you've been waiting for a lightweight, fast-handling autoloader in twenty-gauge—especially one that doesn't compromise on controls or modularity—this is it. At 6.1 pounds, it cycles all day without fatigue, making it a natural fit for upland hunting, light waterfowl work, or anyone who simply prefers the gentler recoil and broader shell selection that modern 20-gauge ammunition offers.
The inertia system is the heart of reliability here. Unlike some gas-operated designs, inertia guns are dead simple, easy to clean, and forgiving of a wide variety of loads—critical when you're choosing from the ever-growing menu of 20-gauge options. The receiver is drilled and tapped for optics, comes standard with a Weaver rail, and accepts Benelli-pattern magazine tube extensions, so your setup can grow with your needs. The reversible cross-bolt safety and oversized controls are ambidextrous by design, welcoming both right- and left-hand shooters without compromise.
CZ backs the package with genuine value: five extended chokes (Full, Improved Modified, Modified, Improved Cylinder, and Cylinder), cast-on and cast-off stock shims for fit adjustment, and a premium lockable hard case. Nothing is left on the table here—you get a finished, field-ready shotgun that respects your budget and your time.
