Cyclops
The Cyclops Micro Hat Clip Light is a lightweight hands-free headlamp solution for hunters, shooters, and outdoorsmen who need reliable task lighting without committing to a full headlamp rig. This compact 10-lumen clip-on light mounts directly to your hat brim or bill, delivering bright white LED illumination right where you're looking—whether you're field dressing game, setting up camp, or working around the truck bed after dark. At less than an ounce, it adds almost nothing to your load, and the top-mount design keeps your peripheral vision clear and unobstructed, unlike bulkier forehead-mounted alternatives.
Built around five super bright LEDs, the Micro Hat Clip produces enough output for close-range work without the excessive power drain or overkill brightness of larger lights. A built-in 15-degree tilt mechanism lets you angle the beam to suit your task, and the integrated clip grips most standard hat brims securely. Run time stretches to nearly two hours on a pair of included CR-2016 button-cell batteries, so you've got reliable light for a full evening hunt or work session without spare batteries in your pack.
If you hunt or shoot in low light, work in the truck bed or blind, or just want a dedicated light that doesn't eat battery budget or add bulk, the Cyclops Micro Hat Clip Light punches above its weight. It's the kind of piece of gear that stays in your pack year-round because it's always useful and never in the way.
| Light Output | 10 lumens |
| LED Count | 5 super bright white LEDs |
| Weight | Less than 1 ounce |
| Mounting | Clip-on (hat brim/bill mount) |
| Tilt Range | 15-degree angle adjustment |
| Burn Time | Approximately 118 minutes |
| Power Source | 2x CR-2016 batteries (included) |
The clip is designed for standard hat brims and bills. It should work on most hunting caps, baseball hats, and similar billed headwear. If you're unsure whether your specific hat will accommodate the clip, check the brim thickness and structure—the clip grips from top and bottom.
With the included CR-2016 batteries, you can expect approximately 118 minutes (just under two hours) of continuous operation. The exact run time may vary depending on usage and battery age.
Ten lumens is sufficient for close-range tasks like field dressing, camp setup, gear management, and general low-light work. It's not designed for long-distance spotting or search—if you need brighter output or longer throw, a larger 20+ lumen headlamp may be better suited. For detail work within arm's reach, the Micro Hat Clip performs well.
The Cyclops Micro Hat Clip Light comes with the light unit and two CR-2016 batteries already installed, ready to use out of the box.
