The adjustable black synthetic stock absorbs recoil and adapts to different shooter sizes, while the included Konus 3-9x40mm BDC optic gets you on target fast—no additional scope purchase required.

CVA designed the Optima XP for hunters who prefer the simplicity and challenge of muzzleloading seasons, or anyone transitioning into black powder hunting. The 50-caliber bore is a proven performer for most North American game, and the rifle's modular design means you can fine-tune your setup as you develop your muzzleloading skills. The black nitride finish resists rust and corrosion better than blued steel, a real advantage if you're hunting wet conditions or damp climates.
