Cross Armory
The Cross Armory CRG5SLRD extended slide lock for Glock Gen1-5 and P80 platforms brings a small but meaningful upgrade to your pistol's controls. If you run a Glock or P80 build and find the factory slide release sits too far back or requires an awkward thumb reach, this red steel extended slide lock moves the lever forward for faster, more intuitive slide manipulation—especially useful during reloads, malfunction drills, or competition stages where every fraction of a second counts.
Built in steel with a distinctive red finish, the CRG5SLRD is designed to be a direct swap for the factory slide lock on Gen1 through Gen5 Glocks, plus compatible P80 polymer frames. The extended geometry lets you press out the slide with your thumb from a more natural grip position, reducing hand movement and keeping your support hand in place. For shooters coming from other platforms or those who prefer a more ergonomic control layout, this is a simple, no-gunsmith install that makes a real difference in handling.
Installation is straightforward—remove the factory slide lock pin, slide the old lever out, and drop in the extended version. No special tools, no fitting required on compatible models. It's the kind of small-but-thoughtful upgrade that compounds across hundreds or thousands of rounds, making your Glock or P80 feel just a bit more tailored to how you actually shoot.

Yes—the CRG5SLRD is designed as a direct fit for Glock Gen1 through Gen5 and P80 frames. It installs in place of the factory slide lock pin assembly without modification.
Remove the factory slide lock pin, slide out the original lever, and insert the extended version. No special tools or gunsmithing required on compatible pistols. If you're unfamiliar with detail stripping, your local gunsmith can install it in minutes.
The extended lever moves the slide lock control forward, letting you manipulate the slide with less thumb travel and without breaking your grip. It's a genuine ergonomic improvement for reloads, malfunction clearing, and range work, especially in high-round-count sessions or competition.
