Crimson Trace
The Crimson Trace LTG771 Lightguard for Springfield XD-S is a compact weapon-mounted light built around the pistol's trigger guard—one of the fastest and most secure attachment points on your carry gun. At 110 lumens, it delivers practical illumination for defensive and low-light shooting scenarios without the bulk of rail-mounted alternatives. If your XD-S is your daily carry, home defense gun, or range frequent-flyer, a dedicated light that stays put and activates instantly can mean the difference between target identification and a mistake.
What sets the LTG771 apart is its ambidextrous activation design: both left and right hands get immediate access to Constant and Momentary modes, so you can run the light intuitively regardless of shooting stance or hand dominance. The matte black polymer construction keeps weight minimal and won't snag on your concealment garment. Battery swaps are straightforward thanks to the rapid-change cap, and with two 1/3N lithium batteries included in the box, you're ready to shoot right out of the gate. Runtime exceeds one hour on a full set—plenty for practice sessions or everyday carry confidence.
Installation is straightforward; there's no gunsmithing required. The trigger guard mount is the core of the design: it's rock-solid, repeatable, and doesn't require you to commit to a rail-mounted solution if your XD-S doesn't have one. For shooters who want serious low-light capability without complicated setups, the LTG771 is a legitimate tool that carries like the gun it protects.
