Colt
The Colt AR-15 M4 223 Rem 16-inch upper receiver with one-piece upper and Rogers stock brings battle-tested performance to the modern sporting rifle platform. Built on the foundation of Colt's military heritage, this 5.56 NATO carbine splits the difference between compact handling and practical accuracy—ideal for shooters who want a versatile platform for the range, tactical training, or home defense. The one-piece monolithic upper receiver is the standout feature here: it incorporates a continuous Mil-Spec rail system that runs from the rear of the upper all the way forward, giving you exceptional repeatability when mounting optics without the inconsistencies that traditional handguard rail systems can introduce.
At the heart of this carbine is a 16.1-inch chrome-lined barrel with a 1:7 right-hand twist, engineered with a free-floating design to maximize accuracy potential. That twist rate is flexible enough to stabilize a wide range of 5.56 NATO ammunition, so you're not locked into a narrow band of loads. The direct gas impingement operating system keeps the design proven and reliable—the same principle that has served armed forces worldwide. Colt partnered with Magpul Industries to outfit this rifle with some of the most practical modern accessories: MOE handguards, MOE carbine stock, MOE pistol grip, and a vertical grip all come standard. The included Magpul MBUS backup sight and A2 fixed front sight give you iron sight redundancy, while the folding front sight and four accessory rail positions make room for optics, lights, or whatever else your mission demands.
The aluminum receiver is anodized for durability, and the whole package tips the scales at 6.9 pounds—light enough for extended shooting sessions but substantial enough to manage recoil. Overall length adjusts from 32 to 35.5 inches depending on stock position, adapting to different shooters and shooting positions. This is a rifle built for people who understand that reliability and adaptability matter more than marketing hype.
