Cole-TAC
The Cole-TAC Handguard Wrap No Slots is a heat shield designed to protect your hands and improve control during extended shooting sessions. Built from two layers of laser-cut Squadron material and laminated for durability, this wrap addresses a real problem modern shooters face: thinner handguards that conduct and retain heat rapidly. Whether you're running drills at the range, working through a carbine course, or spending hours behind the gun, this accessory keeps your grip hand cooler and more comfortable when it counts.
Modern rifle handguards have gotten slimmer over time, which means faster heat buildup during sustained fire. The Cole-TAC wrap creates a robust thermal barrier between the hot rail and your shooting hand, letting you maintain your grip and focus on the shot rather than fighting discomfort. The solid construction—with no slots—provides full coverage across the handguard surface.
Installation is straightforward, and the wrap works with most semi-automatic rifle platforms. If you shoot frequently, run training courses, or hunt where extended trigger time is part of the day, this is a practical upgrade that costs far less than hand fatigue affecting your performance.
| Material | Laser-cut Squadron (two layers, laminated) |
| Dimensions | 6.5" × 3" × 2" |
| Slot Design | No slots |
| Application | Semi-automatic rifle handguards |
The Cole-TAC wrap is designed for semi-automatic rifles with standard handguard dimensions. The 6.5" × 3" profile fits most common modern carbines, but verify your handguard width and length match these dimensions before ordering. Contact us if you're unsure about compatibility with your platform.
The two-layer laminated Squadron construction creates a barrier against heat transfer from the handguard to your hand. During extended shooting sessions, this makes a noticeable difference in hand comfort and control, though the actual heat reduction will vary depending on your shooting volume and pace.
Yes. The wrap is designed to wrap around your handguard and stay in place during use. No permanent modification to your rifle is required, and you can remove it if needed.
