Cold Steel
The Cold Steel CS53NCC Spike is a 4" fixed drop point knife built for serious utility work, hunting prep, and field tasks where a dependable blade matters. With a Cryo 4116 stainless steel blade and a black scalloped Griv-Ex handle, this is a no-nonsense fixed blade that cuts through real-world jobs without fuss. Whether you're processing game, setting up camp, or handling general outdoor work, the Spike delivers the kind of straightforward performance that turns a tool into something you actually trust.
Cold Steel engineered the drop point geometry to balance control and edge retention—a profile that works for skinning, slicing, and detail work without sacrificing durability. The Cryo 4116 stainless steel holds an edge reasonably well and resists corrosion, so you can work in wet conditions without babying it. Griv-Ex is tough, textured synthetic material that grips even when your hands are wet or gloved, and the scalloped contour is molded for a secure hold under pressure.
The package includes a sheath and a bead chain lanyard, so you can carry it safely and secure it to your pack or belt without buying extras. At 4 inches, the Spike occupies a practical middle ground—large enough to handle serious cutting tasks, compact enough to move through brush and pack efficiently. This is a blade for hunters, outdoorsmen, and anyone who needs a fixed knife that works hard and stays out of the way.
