The CobraTec Knives CTK-1 Small is a compact out-of-the-front (OTF) knife built for shooters, outdoors people, and anyone who needs reliable cutting performance in a pocket-sized package. With a 2.75" drop point blade in D2 steel—part serrated for versatility—this knife delivers both utility and dependability. The tiffany blue aluminum handle feels substantial in hand and stands out without being loud, while the integrated glass breaker and included pocket clip make it practical for EDC, truck duty, or backcountry use.
OTF knives appeal to folks who value speed and one-handed operation, and the CTK-1 Small doesn't compromise on build quality despite its compact size. D2 steel strikes a practical balance: it holds an edge well enough for field work, takes a serviceable point on a stone when needed, and resists corrosion better than carbon steel. The part-serrated blade design means you get smooth cutting for general slicing tasks while the serrated section handles tougher material—cord, webbing, rope—without folding back.
The glass breaker is no afterthought; it's a genuine safety tool for vehicle emergencies or getting out of tight situations. The pocket clip ensures the knife stays accessible and secure, whether you're carrying it in work gear, a pack, or on the belt. At this size, it won't bulk up your pocket or backpack, making it ideal for hunters who want a backup blade, shooters who need a general-purpose knife at the range, or anyone assembling a solid EDC setup.

Drop point blades are versatile all-around cutters. The curved spine that drops to meet the point gives you fine control for detail work while maintaining good cutting power for general slicing, field dressing, or camp tasks. It's one of the most practical blade shapes for outdoors and EDC use.
Part serrated means roughly half the blade is serrated and half is smooth. This gives you the best of both worlds: smooth edge sections for clean, controlled cuts on rope, webbing, and soft materials, and serrated sections that bite and saw through tougher stuff without slipping. You get versatility without the maintenance demands of a full serrated blade.
D2 is a solid mid-tier tool steel that holds an edge well and resists corrosion better than many carbon steels. It's not stainless—it will patina with age and exposure—but that patina actually protects the steel. D2 is practical for field work, hunting, and general use because it's easy to sharpen and takes a good working edge quickly.
The glass breaker is designed to help you break vehicle windows in an emergency, such as after a vehicle mishap when you need to exit quickly or assist someone trapped. It's a genuine safety feature that many EDC knives include, especially those designed for shooting sports and outdoor work where emergency preparedness matters.
