Cobra Tec Knives Llc
The CobraTec CTK-1 Large is a serious OTF (out-the-front) tanto knife built for users who need reliable steel and fast deployment in the field or at the range. With a 3.75" D2 steel blade and carbon fiber aluminum handle, this is a working knife—not a novelty—designed to handle the jobs that come up when you're hunting, camping, or managing property. The tanto point geometry gives you a flat cutting edge and reinforced tip, making it versatile enough for general cutting tasks and capable of handling tougher materials.
D2 steel strikes a practical balance: it holds an edge better than softer stainless options and is easier to sharpen and maintain than exotic high-alloy blades. The carbon fiber aluminum construction keeps weight down while providing the rigidity and durability you need from a tactical or utility knife. A glass breaker is integrated into the design—a genuine safety feature if you ever need to get out of a vehicle in an emergency. The pocket clip means you can carry this knife ready-to-hand without dedicating space to a sheath.
OTF deployment is fast and reliable, and the tanto blade's geometry makes it naturally point-forward for slicing and cutting tasks. This isn't a collector's piece; it's a tool that works.
| Blade Length | 3.75" |
| Blade Material | D2 Steel |
| Blade Type | Tanto Plain Edge |
| Handle Material | Carbon Fiber Aluminum |
| Knife Type | Out-the-Front (OTF) |
| Included Accessories | Pocket Clip |
The knife ships with a pocket clip installed, so you're ready to carry it right away.
The integrated glass breaker is a safety feature designed to help you break a vehicle window in an emergency situation, making this knife useful for outdoor and roadside contingencies.
D2 is a carbon steel, not stainless. It will require basic care to prevent rust, but it holds an edge well and is straightforward to sharpen in the field or at home.
An out-the-front knife deploys the blade instantly with a button or switch—no manual opening. It's faster to deploy than a folding knife, which is valuable in work or emergency situations where you need the blade ready immediately.
