If you've built or are planning to build a PS90 SBR using CMMG's shortened barrel, you've hit a common threading roadblock: the FN PS90's M12x1 left-hand threads don't play nice with standard muzzle devices. That's where the CMMG PS90 Thread Adapter M12x1 LH to 1/2"-28 Steel Matte Finish solves the problem. This steel adapter converts those proprietary threads into the widely compatible 1/2"-28 TPI standard, opening up your suppressor, muzzle brake, flash hider, or other device options without compromise.

Built from steel with a matte finish, this adapter is a straightforward, no-fuss solution that lets you use off-the-shelf muzzle devices on your PS90 build. It's the kind of practical part that doesn't get attention until you need it—then you're glad it exists. Whether you're running a short-barreled rifle or looking to add suppressors and brakes to your setup, this adapter bridges the gap between proprietary and universal threading.

The matte steel construction is durable and corrosion-resistant, matching the aesthetic of a purpose-built platform. Install it once, and you've unlocked the full ecosystem of 1/2"-28 muzzle devices. No gunsmithing required—hand-tight or wrench-tight installation is straightforward.

Frequently Asked Questions

What muzzle devices will work with this adapter?

Any suppressor, muzzle brake, flash hider, or other muzzle device threaded for 1/2"-28 will now be compatible with your PS90 SBR once the adapter is installed.

Will this adapter fit my PS90 or P90?

This adapter is designed for barrels with M12x1 left-hand threads, which includes CMMG's shortened PS90 SBR barrels and compatible FN P90 barrels with the same thread profile.

How is this adapter installed?

The adapter threads directly onto your barrel's existing M12x1 LH threads. Installation is straightforward and does not require gunsmithing or special tools.

What is the finish like, and will it rust?

The matte steel finish is durable and corrosion-resistant for outdoor and range use. As with any steel muzzle component, routine maintenance and dry storage will keep it in good condition.
