CMMG
The CMMG MK3 HD Steel Pivot & Takedown Pin Kit for LR-308 upgrades one of the most-used—and most-annoying—aspects of rifle maintenance. If you've ever wrestled with stubborn mil-spec takedown pins, you know the frustration: they're small, they're flush, and they're easy to lose on the bench. This kit replaces those frustrating factory pins with machined steel alternatives designed around user experience, not just minimum specifications.
The pins in this kit feature a divot and extended length that gives your fingers actual purchase when you need to break down your rifle. Whether you're clearing the chamber between stages at the range, cleaning after a hunt, or doing a quick maintenance check in the field, these pins let you work faster without straining to find leverage on tiny dimples. Matte finish stands up to the rigors of repeated handling and field use without looking flashy—just solid, purpose-built steel that blends with any LR-308 platform.
CMMG's reputation in the AR-platform ecosystem runs deep, and these pins reflect that engineering mindset: small part, significant improvement. If you're running an LR-308 and sick of fumbling with takedown pins, this is an easy upgrade that pays dividends every time you field-strip your rifle.
