CMMG
The CMMG Banshee MKGs is a 9mm AR pistol engineered for shooters who want the ergonomics and modularity of an AR platform in a compact, maneuverable package. Built on CMMG's proven MKGs platform, this fixed ejector handgun feeds standard Glock-pattern 33-round double-stack magazines—the same mags millions of pistol shooters already own. With an 8-inch barrel, 23.7-inch overall length, and sub-5-pound weight, it's nimble enough for home defense, truck storage, or range work without sacrificing the controls and feel you expect from a rifle-style firearm.
The Banshee MKGs uses a radial delayed blowback system that's proven reliable across thousands of rounds. You get genuine AR features that matter: last-round bolt hold open so you know when you're dry, an ambidextrous charging handle, and a drop-in trigger that breaks clean. The RipBrace gives you a stable platform whether you're shooting from barricades or supporting off your body, and the CMMG ZEROED linear compensator keeps muzzle rise in check for fast follow-up shots. Everything wears Cerakote Armor Black for durability in the field.
This is a serious option if you run 9mm through other guns—you're not buying into a proprietary ecosystem. The 7075 aluminum lower and billet 6061 upper are robust enough for hard use, and the CMMG EML7 M-LOK handguard gives you plenty of real estate to add lights, lasers, or slings. Whether you're a competitive pistol caliber carbine shooter, a home-defense builder, or someone who just wants an AR-pattern gun in a round that's easy on the ears and the wallet, the Banshee MKGs delivers.

Yes. The Banshee MKGs is designed to feed Glock-pattern double-stack 9mm magazines. The gun ships with support for 33-round capacity mags, so you can use common aftermarket and factory Glock magazines you may already own.
The Banshee MKGs uses a fixed ejector radial delayed blowback system. This design cycles reliably without tilting the barrel, keeping the gun locked until pressure drops enough to extract safely. It's proven on CMMG's other rifle-caliber and pistol-caliber carbines.
The barrel is threaded 1/2 x 28, the standard thread pitch for 9mm. The gun ships with a CMMG ZEROED linear compensator already installed. You can remove it to attach a suppressor or other 1/2 x 28 muzzle device if you choose.
The Banshee MKGs was built as a serious platform: it has last-round bolt hold open, a clean trigger, a brace for stable shooting, and the compact 8-inch barrel and 23.7-inch length make it maneuverable indoors or from vehicle storage. Many shooters use pistol-caliber AR platforms for personal defense, though your specific use case and local laws are always your call to make.
