The CMC Triggers AR-15 component trigger with curved trigger face and 3.5 lb pull weight gives you the performance of a purpose-built match trigger without the commitment of a full drop-in housing system. If you're building or upgrading an AR platform rifle and want the ability to fine-tune your trigger installation or swap components down the road, this trigger delivers the smooth, crisp break you need for precision shooting—whether you're punching paper at the range, hunting, or running drills. CMC's component-style design separates the trigger mechanism from the housing, giving you flexibility that drop-in units don't offer.

The curved trigger face and light 3.5 lb pull weight make for fast, predictable breaks that minimize move-on-target. You get the same quality materials and engineering as CMC's drop-in triggers, but in a configuration that lets you integrate into your receiver on your own schedule. Installation requires the CMC patented assembly tool (sold separately), which streamlines the build and ensures proper function. The small pin size makes this trigger compatible with standard AR platform receivers.

This is a component trigger, not a complete drop-in assembly, so you'll have control over the overall setup. Whether you're an experienced builder who likes to dial in every detail or someone who simply prefers a modular approach to rifle work, this trigger gives you the dependability of CMC quality in a format that fits your building style.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this trigger compatible with my standard AR-15 receiver?

Yes. This trigger uses a small pin and is designed to fit AR platform receivers. Verify your receiver's pin size before ordering.

What's the difference between this component trigger and a drop-in trigger?

This component trigger separates the trigger mechanism from the housing, allowing you to integrate it into your receiver as part of a custom build. Drop-in triggers come as a complete assembly that installs as a single unit. The component design gives you more flexibility in installation and future modifications.

Do I need any special tools to install this trigger?

Installation requires the CMC patented assembly tool, which is sold separately and streamlines proper installation.

What pull weight does this trigger have?

This trigger features a 3.5 lb pull weight, delivering a light, crisp break suited for precision shooting and faster target transitions.
