The CM Products Power Mag Compact is a purpose-built 8-round magazine for 1911 Officer-frame pistols in .45 ACP. Built from stainless steel, this magazine delivers the reliability and durability you need for carry, competition, or range work with your compact 1911. Whether you're running a daily-carry Officer or a match gun, having quality backup magazines matters—and Power Mag lives up to Chip McCormick's reputation for exacting manufacturing standards.
Compact 1911 owners know the balance between capacity and shootability: Officer frames are inherently limited in how much they can hold, but 8 rounds is a solid carry load that keeps the magazine footprint manageable. Stainless steel construction resists corrosion and handles the wear of repeated loading, unloading, and holster life without complaint. This is the kind of mag you load once and forget about until you need it.
If you carry an Officer-sized 1911 or shoot one regularly, a spare magazine or two is essential—and sourcing factory-quality magazines from a builder with three decades of 1911 pedigree means you're not gambling on reliability. Whether you're in the field, at the range, or keeping one in your nightstand, Power Mag Compact magazines work.
