The Cimarron Preacher .45 Long Colt revolver with 8" barrel brings a piece of Old West cinema to your collection—a single-action tribute inspired by the iconic sidearm from Clint Eastwood's Pale Rider. Built on a proven Model 1858 frame, this blued steel revolver pairs authentic period styling with practical shooting capability. Whether you're a Cowboy Action shooter, historical enthusiast, or collector drawn to classic American firearms, the Preacher delivers the look and feel of the frontier era in a shootable package.
What sets the Preacher apart is its dual-cylinder versatility. The gun ships with a .45 Long Colt conversion cylinder already installed, ready to shoot modern ammunition. A .44 caliber percussion cylinder comes included as well, letting you experience the historically accurate loading and firing methods of the black-powder era. That flexibility makes the Preacher genuinely useful for both traditional percussion shooting and conventional cartridge practice—you get two guns in one. The fixed sights are zeroed for practical use, and the two-piece walnut grips provide comfortable, historically appropriate handling.
The 8" barrel strikes a balance between sight radius and carry-ability, making it suitable for deliberate shooting without becoming unwieldy. The blued finish and steel construction are classic for good reason: they're durable and they look right. This is a revolver that works whether you're on the range, at a Cowboy Action match, or simply enjoying the mechanics of single-action shooting the way it was meant to be experienced.
