The Cimarron Firearms Pietta Pistolero 9mm single-action revolver brings old-west styling to modern shooters who want classic lines without sacrificing practical caliber choices. Built by Pietta in Italy and distributed by Cimarron, this nickel-finished revolver pairs traditional single-action ergonomics with 9mm Luger chambering — a straightforward choice for shooters who already reload or stock 9mm for their other firearms. The 4.75-inch barrel strikes a balance between sight radius and portability, making it equally at home on the range or in a holster.

The one-piece walnut grip feels substantial in the hand and complements the bright nickel finish without pretension. Fixed sights keep things simple and reliable — no adjustment knobs to snag or fail. At 40 ounces and 10.3 inches overall, this is a gun you can actually carry and shoot all day, not just admire in a display case. The 6-round capacity is standard for single-action revolvers and reflects the design philosophy: deliberate, proven, and honest.

Whether you're a cowboy-action shooter looking for a 9mm option, a reloader seeking another platform for your handloads, or someone drawn to single-action simplicity, the Pistolero delivers mechanical reliability without unnecessary complexity. It's a straightforward tool built by makers who understand what works.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes a 9mm single-action revolver different from a traditional .45 Colt or .357 Magnum?

The Pistolero's 9mm Luger chambering lets you shoot the same ammunition as most modern 9mm pistols and rifles. If you already reload or stockpile 9mm, this revolver becomes part of your ammunition ecosystem rather than requiring you to maintain a separate caliber. The ballistics and power are lighter than magnum revolver cartridges, but 9mm remains reliable for range work and recreational shooting.

Is this revolver suitable for cowboy-action shooting?

The single-action mechanism and traditional styling fit the cowboy-action shooting platform. Verify with your specific match organization that 9mm is approved in their ruleset, as some events have caliber restrictions.

What's included with the Pistolero?

The product facts provided cover the revolver itself. For information on what accessories, holsters, or documentation are included, please contact Bosque Outdoors directly.

How does the nickel finish hold up over time?

Nickel plating resists corrosion better than bare steel, but like any plated finish, it can wear with heavy use and exposure. Regular cleaning and light oiling will help maintain its appearance and protective qualities.
