CHRISTENSEN ARMS
The Christensen Arms Traverse 6.5 Creedmoor bolt-action rifle brings serious backcountry performance without the weight penalty. Built for hunters and long-range shooters who refuse to compromise, this 24" rifle combines a carbon fiber wrapped barrel with a Monte-Carlo composite stock to deliver the accuracy you need at elevations where every ounce matters. At a starting weight of 7.3 pounds, the Traverse proves that modern rifle engineering doesn't have to feel like compromise—it feels like an advantage.
The action is where Christensen Arms' reputation solidifies. A twin-lug spiral fluted bolt with nitride treatment cycles smoothly, while the TriggerTech trigger breaks cleanly and consistently. The 416R stainless steel barrel is hand-lapped and button rifled with a free-floating profile, then wrapped in Christensen's proprietary carbon fiber for rigidity without bulk. A stainless steel side-baffle brake handles recoil management while a 0-MOA Picatinny rail sits ready for your optic of choice. The enlarged ejection port and improved bolt release keep the action responsive, whether you're in a tree stand or glassing from a ridge.
The stock is where classic meets innovation. That Monte-Carlo carbon fiber composite build features a raised comb for natural sight picture, full palm swell for control, and a modified beavertail forearm that anchors the rifle in your hands. Stainless steel pillars and spot bedding ensure consistency shot to shot. Four bottom Picatinny rails let you attach supports or accessories without guesswork, and the hinged floor plate with internal 4-round magazine (3 for magnum calibers) loads cleanly in any position. The black stock with gray webbing isn't just good looking—it's dressed for work.
Christensen Arms backs this rifle with their Sub-MOA Guarantee, reflecting confidence in the build. If you hunt high country or stretch shots across open terrain, the Traverse is engineered for precision in conditions where most rifles struggle.
