CHRISTENSEN ARMS
The Christensen Arms Ridgeline FFT in .270 Winchester with a 20-inch barrel is purpose-built for hunters who refuse to compromise on accuracy or pack weight. This lightweight precision rifle combines advanced materials and meticulous engineering to deliver the kind of performance that rewards careful shot placement in the field—without the fatigue that comes from hauling extra pounds to elevation.
At its core, the Ridgeline FFT features a Christensen Arms precision-machined receiver paired with a 416R stainless steel barrel wrapped in Aerograde carbon fiber. The barrel is button rifled, hand-lapped, and match-chambered with a free-floating design—the hallmarks of a rifle built to shoot. A removable stainless steel side baffle brake (threaded 5/8 x 24) helps manage recoil and muzzle rise, though you can run it suppressed with a muzzle device swap. The TriggerTech trigger breaks clean and predictably, while standard Remington 700 optics base compatibility means your preferred scope mounts without fuss.
The action sports a spiral-fluted bolt with an enlarged bolt knob for positive manipulation, even with gloved hands. An enlarged ejection port cycles reliably, and the four-round internal magazine with hinged aluminum floor plate keeps weight down—though the rifle accepts AICS detachable magazines with an aftermarket conversion kit if you prefer the flexibility. The stock is Christensen Arms' FFT carbon fiber sporter design, bedded with carbon fiber pillars and spot bedding to lock the action in place. Topped with a solid recoil pad, the Ridgeline FFT delivers the handling and control serious hunters expect from a modern mountain rifle.
This is a rifle for those who've already learned that every ounce matters on a long hike and that precision matters more than power. The .270 Winchester is a proven cartridge at extended range, and the Ridgeline FFT gives it the accuracy platform it deserves.
