CHRISTENSEN ARMS
The Christensen Arms Ridgeline FFT in Barren Dune is a lightweight precision rifle built for hunters who refuse to compromise on accuracy for the sake of pack weight. Chambered in .22-250 with a 20-inch barrel, this rifle combines advanced materials and meticulous engineering to deliver the kind of performance that shows up downrange and in the field. If you've spent time glassing from high country or hiking to distant glassing points, you know that every ounce matters—and the Ridgeline FFT respects that reality without cutting corners on precision.
The foundation is a Christensen Arms precision-machined receiver paired with a TriggerTech trigger, giving you the control and consistency serious shooters expect. The barrel itself is a masterpiece of attention to detail: 416R stainless steel wrapped in Aerograde carbon fiber, button rifled, hand lapped, match chambered, and free floating. That carbon fiber wrap isn't just for looks; it reduces weight while managing heat, and the removable stainless steel side baffle brake helps tame recoil without adding unnecessary bulk. The 5/8x24 thread pitch (standard for .22-250) means you have options if you want to run a suppressor down the road.
The stock is where Christensen's FFT (Featherweight Technology) philosophy really shines: FFT carbon fiber construction with carbon fiber bedding pillars and spot bedding for rigidity where it counts. The action features a spiral fluted bolt with an enlarged knob for gloved operation, an improved bolt release, and an enlarged ejection port. An internal magazine with aluminum hinged floor plate comes standard, and the rifle is compatible with AICS detachable magazines via an aftermarket conversion kit if you want that versatility. Standard Remington 700 scope base mounting means minimal gunsmithing to get glass on target.
This is a rifle for hunters who know their rifle intimately and expect it to perform flawlessly in conditions that separate the committed from the casual. Whether you're pursuing varmints with surgical precision or taking longer shots in open country, the Ridgeline FFT delivers the accuracy, handling, and reliability that justify the investment.
