CHRISTENSEN ARMS
The Christensen Arms Ridgeline .308 Win rifle is a purpose-built hunting rifle that strips away unnecessary weight without compromising accuracy or field performance. Built on a billet aluminum action with a Trigger Tech trigger, this 24" rifle weighs just 6.3 pounds—light enough to carry all day without fatigue, yet rigid enough to shoot sub-MOA groups. The .308 Winchester chambering makes it one of the most versatile hunting cartridges available, effective from short-range timber to mid-distance open country, with ammunition readily available across the continent.
At the heart of the Ridgeline is Christensen Arms' proprietary carbon fiber-wrapped 416R stainless barrel with a light target contour, hand-lapped and button-rifled for consistency. The barrel is topped with a removable stainless steel radial muzzle brake that tames recoil and mitigates muzzle rise—particularly valuable in a lightweight package where felt impulse can be sharp. The action wears a natural stainless finish and ships with a standard Remington 700 optics base, so you can mount your preferred scope immediately. An enlarged ejection port and improved bolt release speed up cycling, while the internal 4-round magazine keeps the profile trim.
The stock is where Christensen Arms differentiates the Ridgeline from heavier competition rifles. A sporter-profile carbon fiber composite with black finish and gray webbing provides excellent ergonomics and durability without the weight penalty of wood or aluminum. Stainless steel bedding pillars and spot bedding lock the action down for repeatable accuracy, and a recoil pad absorbs impact. Every Ridgeline ships backed by Christensen Arms' Sub-MOA Guarantee—a promise that matters when you're betting on a clean, ethical harvest in the field.
This is a rifle built for hunters who refuse to compromise: those who hike steep country, glass for miles, and value the ability to make the first shot count. The Ridgeline's combination of light weight, carbon fiber construction, proven .308 performance, and match-grade barrel makes it an excellent choice for elk, deer, and mountain hunting where every ounce in your pack matters.
