CHRISTENSEN ARMS
The Christensen Arms Mesa Long Range in .300 PRC is built for shooters serious about extended-range performance. This bolt-action rifle combines precision engineering with practical long-range hunting and competition features, delivering the accuracy and dependability you need when every shot counts downrange. The Mesa Long Range platform starts at 8.9 pounds—light enough to pack into the backcountry, stout enough to handle the recoil of a magnum cartridge without flinching.
At the heart of this rifle is a 416R stainless steel barrel with a medium Palma contour, hand-lapped and button-rifled for consistency. The muzzle is threaded 5/8×24 and wears a seamless removable side-baffle brake to manage recoil and help you stay on target for follow-up shots. A free-floating design isolates the barrel from the stock, supporting the Sub-MOA accuracy guarantee Christensen Arms backs this rifle with. The action is a Remington 700-pattern platform, so you'll find plenty of aftermarket support and optics mounts. Look for a skeletonized bolt handle, enlarged ejection port, and a TriggerTech trigger that breaks clean and predictable. The billet aluminum bottom metal holds an internal 4-round magazine (3 rounds for magnum ammo) with a hinged floor plate, and the nitride-treated twin-lug spiral fluted bolt cycles smooth.
The adjustable carbon fiber composite stock is where ergonomics and weight savings meet. You can dial in length of pull and comb height with included spacers, and stainless steel pillars ensure consistent bedding. The action wears a burnt bronze Cerakote finish, while the stock is finished in green with black and tan webbing—a modern, rugged look that blends into the field. Recoil pad is included.
