CHRISTENSEN ARMS
The Christensen Arms Mesa 7mm Rem Mag rifle is a lightweight backcountry hunter's rig built to perform on mountain hunts where every ounce matters. Starting at just 5.5 pounds, this rifle pairs a featherweight stainless steel barrel with a carbon fiber FFT stock to keep weight minimal without compromising on accuracy or durability. The 22-inch barrel is finished in tungsten Cerakote, matching a skeletonized action that's equally no-nonsense in appearance and function.
Under the hood, the Mesa is engineered for precision. The 416R stainless barrel features a match chamber, hand-lapped bore, and button rifling, all free-floating for consistency. A removable radial muzzle brake (threaded 1/2"-28 or 5/8"-24) helps manage recoil without adding permanent weight. The action is a standard Rem 700 pattern with Rem 700 optics base compatibility, Trigger Tech trigger, and a Cerakote-finished billet aluminum bottom metal with a 4-round internal magazine (3-round for magnum loads). An improved bolt release and enlarged ejection port make the rifle fast to operate in the field.
The FFT carbon fiber stock is a sporter style that won't absorb moisture or shift zero in wet conditions. Stainless steel bedding pillars and spot bedding ensure the barrel stays true, and the recoil pad keeps shooting manageable even with the 7mm Rem Mag's punch. Christensen backs the Mesa with their Sub-MOA Guarantee—because a lightweight rifle is only worth carrying if it shoots.
This is a rifle built for hunters who hike far and shoot once. If you're scaling ridge lines, glassing basins, and need a rifle that won't slow you down but will deliver when the moment comes, the Mesa is worth your consideration.

The rifle ships with a removable radial muzzle brake threaded 1/2"-28 or 5/8"-24 (verify your thread pitch at purchase). You can unscrew the brake and replace it with a suppressor of the matching thread pitch, making the rifle suppressor-ready.

The lightweight design doesn't sacrifice accuracy: the barrel is free-floating with a match chamber and hand-lapped bore, and the rifle is backed by Christensen Arms' Sub-MOA Guarantee.
The Mesa is fitted with a Trigger Tech trigger.
