The Chip McCormick Custom Power Mag is a premium 1911 magazine built for shooters who demand reliability when it counts. Designed for full-size .45 ACP 1911 handguns, this 8-round stainless steel magazine features the brand's patented dual-wall feed rail design—a significant departure from traditional thin, vulnerable feed lips that can warp and fail under hard use. Whether you're running defensive drills, competing, or relying on your 1911 in the field, a quality magazine is as critical as the gun itself, and this one is engineered to last.

The standout feature here is the RPM (Railed Power Mag) dual-wall feed rail system. Those rails are substantially stronger than conventional 1911 magazine feed lips—we're talking roughly twice the durability—and they provide a genuinely smooth feeding surface that promotes reliable chambering even with hollow-point or specialty ammunition. The heavy-duty stainless steel body resists corrosion, making this magazine at home in wet conditions or long storage. A robust 18-coil high-tensile spring keeps tension consistent over thousands of cycles, and the removable base pad makes field or range maintenance straightforward.

Small details matter in magazines. Numbered witness holes let you count rounds at a glance, eliminating guesswork during reloads. The smooth finish slides in and out of your magwell without snags. And because this is Chip McCormick Custom—a name built on 1911 precision—you get a magazine backed by their satisfaction guarantee. For 1911 owners serious about ammunition reliability, this is the kind of accessory that pays dividends over years of shooting.
