CHIAPPA FIREARMS
The Chiappa Firearms SAA 1873 is a single-action revolver that blends Old West aesthetics with modern manufacturing—a perfect choice for shooters who want classic looks without sacrificing reliability. Chambered in .22 LR and .22 WMR, this 10-round revolver offers dual-caliber versatility in a platform known for accuracy and ease of shooting. The 7.5-inch barrel strikes a balance between sight radius and handling, while the blued finish and black checkered grip deliver authentic 1873 character that works equally well at the range or in a collection.
What sets the Chiappa SAA 1873 apart is its thoughtful construction: a steel rifled barrel paired with receiver and internal components cast from a specialized alloy engineered for ductility and long-term durability. This hybrid approach lets you shoot with the confidence of a proven design while benefiting from materials that resist wear. The fixed blade front sight works in tandem with an adjustable rear sight, so you can dial it in for your load and distance without gunsmithing.
At just 2.3 pounds, this revolver is light enough for casual plinking, cowboy action events, or introducing new shooters to single-action mechanics. The dual-caliber capability means you can load .22 LR for low-recoil practice or step up to .22 WMR when you want a bit more punch—all without switching guns.
