CHIAPPA FIREARMS
The Chiappa Double Badger is a break-action over-under rifle that pairs .22 Magnum and .410 bore in a single compact platform—a genuine two-in-one tool for small game hunters and varmint shooters who want versatility without carrying two guns. Built on a straightforward break-open action with dual barrels stacked vertically, it lets you choose your shot based on what's in front of you: the .22 Magnum for precision work on distant targets, the .410 for close-range small game or pest control. The 19-inch barrel keeps the overall profile nimble at 36 inches long, making it comfortable to carry through brush and timber, and the 5.5-pound weight won't wear you out on a full day afield.
The Double Badger's steel construction with a matte black finish stands up to field work, while the semi-gloss beech wood furniture strikes a balance between classic aesthetics and practical durability. Fiber optic front and adjustable rear sights mean you're ready to shoot out of the box—no rail mounting or optics required, though the platform certainly allows for customization if you want it. The 1:16 twist rate is tailored for the .22 Magnum cartridge, delivering the accuracy you need for clean, ethical shots at small-game distances.
If you hunt rabbits, squirrels, and pest species across varying terrain, or you want a lightweight truck gun that handles multiple job descriptions, the Double Badger delivers practical flexibility without compromise. It's the kind of rifle that rewards field time: learn both barrels, and you'll take game efficiently no matter how the moment unfolds.

Yes. The Double Badger's over-under design gives you both barrels ready to go. Simply break the action open, load the barrel you want to use first, and fire. After shooting, open the action again and load the other barrel. It's fast enough for hunting situations where conditions or targets change.
It's designed for small game and varmint hunting—rabbits, squirrels, prairie dogs, foxes, and similar pest species. The .22 Magnum handles precision shots at moderate range, while the .410 works well for close-range small game or situations where shot placement matters more than bullet energy.
It comes equipped with fiber optic front and adjustable rear sights, so you can hunt effectively right out of the box. The open sight setup is fast and intuitive for small-game work, though the rifle can be customized with aftermarket mounts if you prefer a scope or other optics.
At 5.5 pounds with a 19-inch barrel and 36-inch overall length, it's compact and light enough to carry comfortably during long days afield. The proportions make it easy to maneuver through brush and timber without fatigue.
