The Charter Arms Undercover Lite compact .38 Special revolver in pink and stainless steel is built for shooters who want reliable personal protection without sacrificing concealability or comfort. Weighing just 12 ounces, this lightweight revolver is purpose-built for everyday carry—whether you're looking for a backup gun, a purse pistol, or a dependable pocket revolver. The double-action-only design with an enclosed hammer means no snags on clothing, and the fixed sights keep things simple and snag-free for fast deployment when it counts.

Built from 7075 aircraft-grade aluminum and steel, the Undercover Lite combines genuine toughness with genuine lightness. The 2-inch barrel strikes a practical balance between shootability and ease of concealment, while the 5-round capacity delivers .38 Special +P performance in a platform that won't weigh you down over a full day of carry. The two-tone finish—pink anodized aluminum frame paired with hi-polish stainless steel—gives the gun a distinctive appearance that stands out from the sea of black tactical guns without sacrificing a moment of serious function.

If you've carried heavier snub-nose revolvers in the past, the weight savings here make a real difference in how long you can comfortably carry, especially in pocket or purse carry modes. Charter Arms has earned a solid reputation for putting out dependable, affordable wheelguns, and the Undercover Lite keeps that tradition alive. This isn't a range queen or a safe queen—it's a working gun for working people who value reliability, simplicity, and the confidence that comes with old-school revolver mechanics.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes this revolver good for everyday carry?

At 12 ounces, the Undercover Lite is one of the lightest compact revolvers on the market. The 2-inch barrel and compact grip make it easy to conceal in a pocket, purse, or waistband holster. The enclosed hammer won't snag on fabric, making it ideal for situations where you need to draw quickly and smoothly.

Is .38 Special +P effective for self-defense?

We can confirm this revolver is chambered in .38 Special +P, which is a recognized self-defense caliber. For ammunition recommendations and ballistic performance, consult your preferred defensive ammunition manufacturer's documentation and your local ballistic experts.

How does the double-action-only trigger work?

The DAO trigger means every shot requires a full trigger press that both cocks and releases the hammer. This eliminates the need to manually thumb back the hammer, making it faster and simpler under stress. There is no single-action mode.

Will this fit in a standard .38 revolver holster?

The Undercover Lite is a compact 5-shot revolver with a 2-inch barrel. Holster compatibility depends on the specific holster design—we recommend verifying dimensions with holster manufacturers to ensure proper fit before purchasing.
