Charles Daly
The Charles Daly Triple Threat 12ga over/under shotgun pairs classic break-open reliability with a compact 18.5" barrel—a genuine working gun for hunters and sport shooters who need versatility without the bulk. Over/under shotguns balance handling and sight picture in ways that side-by-sides and semi-autos can't quite match, and this one delivers the goods at a price that makes sense. The matte black finish is business-like and durable, the checkered walnut furniture feels right in your hands, and the gun strips down the way shotguns should. Whether you're running the fields, patterning loads at the range, or keeping it handy at camp, an 18.5" barrel over/under is built for situations where one gun needs to handle multiple jobs.
The Triple Threat chambers 3" magnum rounds, so you've got options from target loads up to heavy hunting ammunition. The included choke set—SK, IC, M, IM, and Full—means you can dial in patterns for everything from close cover to distance work without swapping guns. A brass bead sight keeps your focus simple and your target picture clean. At 8.2 lbs, the gun carries reasonably and shoulders fast, and the overall length of 35.5" gives you the handling benefits of a short barrel without sacrificing sight radius or sight plane.
Charles Daly has built a solid reputation for delivering genuine, no-nonsense shotguns that work hard and don't quit. The Triple Threat's break-open action is one of the most reliable platforms in shotgunning—simple, straightforward, and proven over generations. If you want an over/under shotgun that handles like it means business and patterns clean without the frills or the premium price tag, this one earns its place on the truck rack or in the safe.

Yes. The 3" magnum chamber and five-choke setup make it versatile for upland game, waterfowl (with appropriate shot), and clay shooting. The 18.5" barrel balances speed and sight plane for both field and range use.
The 18.5" length is shorter and more maneuverable than typical 26" or 28" over/unders—ideal if you hunt thick cover or need a quick-handling gun. You trade some sight radius and pellet velocity for faster gun handling and lighter carry.
The Charles Daly Triple Threat weighs 8.2 lbs and measures 35.5" overall, making it reasonably light and compact for an over/under—manageable for long days in the field or at the range.
