The Charles Daly 20-round drum magazine for 12-gauge shotguns gives you serious capacity for competition, home defense, or extended range sessions. Built as a mag-fed shotgun upgrade, this drum works specifically with Charles Daly's magazine-fed platform—the N4S, AR-12S, and Mag Fed Honcho. If you're running one of those guns, this is the high-round-count option that keeps you in the fight without frequent reloads.

Manufactured by Promag, the drum combines a durable metal feed lip design with a plastic body that feeds reliably when locked into a compatible receiver. The 20-round capacity is a genuine game-changer for shooters who value sustained firepower, whether you're training at the range or setting up for a defensive scenario where every round counts. The metal feed lips work to ensure consistent feeding through the gun's action.

One thing to note: the last-round hold-open feature won't function with this magazine when installed in an AR-12S or N4S, so plan your shooting rhythm accordingly. For the Mag Fed Honcho, verify compatibility with your particular build. If you're committed to the mag-fed shotgun world and want to maximize your on-board ammunition supply, this 20-rounder is the logical choice.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Charles Daly shotguns does this drum magazine fit?

The 20-round drum is designed for Charles Daly's mag-fed shotguns: the N4S, AR-12S, and Mag Fed Honcho. If you own one of those three models, this magazine will drop in and function in your gun.

Will the last-round hold-open feature work with this magazine?

No. When you use this drum magazine in an N4S or AR-12S, the last-round hold-open function will not engage. Plan your reload timing accordingly. If you're using a Mag Fed Honcho, verify compatibility with your specific setup.

What's the difference between this drum and standard box magazines for mag-fed shotguns?

This 20-round drum gives you double the capacity of typical box magazines, which means fewer reloads during shooting sessions. The tradeoff is the drum's profile, which may impact how the gun handles or how it sits when slung or rested.

Is this magazine made by Charles Daly or someone else?

This drum is manufactured by Promag to specifications for Charles Daly magazine-fed shotguns. It features metal feed lips and a plastic body design built to feed reliably through compatible receivers.
