Case
The Case 55230 Pocket Worn Trapper is a classic two-blade folding knife built for hunters, anglers, and anyone who spends serious time outdoors. This traditional trapper pattern gives you a clip point blade and a spey blade in one compact package—versatility that's earned Case Knives a reputation spanning generations. The mirror-polished stainless steel blades come factory-sharp and ready to work, while the jigged mahogany bone handle feels substantial in your hand without excess weight.
What sets the 55230 apart is its authentic "pocket worn" aesthetic. This isn't a distressed finish that fades after a season—Case applies a genuine worn patina that tells the story of a knife that's been trusted and used. The mahogany bone scales develop character over time, making each knife subtly unique. If you appreciate traditional slip-joint folders that look as good in your palm as they do in your collection, this is the real deal.
The dual-blade setup makes this trapper equally at home cleaning game, field dressing fish, processing camp wood, or handling a thousand small cutting tasks in the backcountry. The spey blade's unique shape excels at detail work, while the clip point handles general-purpose cutting with authority. Stainless steel keeps maintenance simple—no oil-and-wipe rituals required, though the mahogany bone deserves respect in wet conditions.
This is Case's answer to anyone looking for a pocket knife that honors American knife-making tradition without pretense. If vintage aesthetics and practical two-blade versatility appeal to you, the 55230 Pocket Worn Trapper delivers both.
