CARLSON'S
The Carlson's TSS Turkey Choke Tube 38031 for .410 gauge is purpose-built for modern tungsten-based turkey loads, particularly Federal Premium Heavyweight TSS ammunition. This choke tube delivers the tight, dense patterns demanded by turkey hunters pushing extended ranges, giving you confidence in your shot placement when it counts most.
Tungsten Super Shot (TSS) ammunition represents a significant leap over traditional lead turkey loads. TSS pellets are 22% denser than heavyweight lead shot and 56% heavier than standard lead—meaning more projectiles in the critical 10-inch circle at 40 yards. For a .410 bore, that density advantage is especially valuable, helping you squeeze maximum pellet count and energy retention into a smaller bore. Carlson's engineered this tube to work with TSS loads in shot sizes 7 and 9, which is where modern turkey ammunition concentrates its pattern-building advantage.
This choke is compatible with Federal Premium Heavyweight TSS Turkey Loads and functions reliably with other quality turkey ammunition in the same shot size range. If you're running Federal's FliteControl Flex wad system, you'll appreciate the flexibility this tube offers—the Federal design lets you use any choke you prefer without performance compromise. Keep in mind: no steel shot larger than #4 should be used in this tube.
For .410 shotgun owners serious about turkey hunting, the Carlson's TSS Turkey Choke represents the modern standard. Pair it with quality TSS loads and you're setting yourself up for the dense, reliable patterns needed to close the deal on long-range birds.
| Gauge | .410 |
| Choke Type | TSS Turkey |
| Model | 38031 |
| Material | Steel |
| Recommended Shot Sizes | 7–9 |
