CARLSON'S
The Carlson's Choke Tubes 07454 Delta Waterfowl 20 gauge mid-range extended choke is built for the 25-to-40-yard shooting window where most waterfowl encounters happen. Cast from 17-4 stainless steel, these tubes are engineered to handle steel shot reliably and deliver the dense, consistent patterns you need when ducks and geese are working. The extended design protects your barrel from the wear that comes with regular steel shot use—a practical touch that extends your shotgun's life.
What sets this choke apart is its longer parallel section, which tightens your pattern and reduces flyers when you're in that mid-range sweet spot. The extra length also lets you push slightly larger steel shot through tighter constrictions without sacrificing performance, giving you flexibility in the field. A knurled extension makes removal and installation straightforward, even in cold, wet conditions or with gloved hands. The blue finish resists corrosion and blends with most modern shotgun aesthetics.
Carlson's backs this tube with a lifetime warranty, so you can hunt with confidence. It fits Winchester Browning Invector, Mossberg 500, Weatherby (pre-1993), and Ruger Red Label shotguns. (Note: Winchester SX-2, SX-3, and SXP models require Browning Invector Plus tubes instead.)

The 07454 fits Winchester Browning Invector, Mossberg 500, Weatherby (pre-1993 models), and Ruger Red Label shotguns. If you own a Winchester SX-2, SX-3, or SXP, you'll need a Browning Invector Plus choke tube instead.
This mid-range choke is designed for 25-to-40-yard shooting, the typical window for waterfowl hunting. The longer parallel section produces denser patterns at those distances while reducing flyers.
Yes. All steel shot sizes can be used with Carlson's close and mid-range choke tubes. Do not use steel shot velocities faster than 1550 FPS or shot sizes larger than BB through the long-range tube.
The 3/4" extension keeps your barrel away from direct contact with steel shot, which prevents erosion and damage that can occur with prolonged steel shot use. It also allows the longer parallel section to work effectively, supporting larger shot sizes in tighter chokes without reliability issues.
