The CARL 12GA Skeet Rem Choke Tube for Sporting Clays is a precision-engineered choke tube built for shooters serious about consistent patterns and quick swaps at the range or in the field. Built from 17-4 stainless steel and machined to exacting tolerances, this Remington-compatible choke delivers the kind of repeatable performance that competitive clay shooters and serious shotgunners demand. Whether you're fine-tuning your pattern for skeet, sporting clays, or general 12-gauge shooting, the Skeet constriction gives you the versatility to dial in the spread you need.
The design emphasizes what matters: a 25% larger parallel section in the tube itself produces more uniform pellet distribution than conventional choke tubes, meaning tighter, denser patterns shot after shot. The knurled end makes removing and swapping tubes quick—no tools needed—while the laser-marked constriction marking on the end eliminates guessing at a glance. This choke works with lead shot, steel shot, copperplated shot, nickel shot, and Hevi-Shotshells, giving you flexibility across ammo types. (Note: steel shot larger than BBS should not be used in choke constrictions tighter than Full.)
If you shoot a Remington 12-gauge with a choke system, this tube drops right in. The longer parallel section compared to flush-mount tubes means you'll see tighter patterns—a real advantage when consistency is the difference between a clean target and a miss.
| Gauge | 12 |
| Constriction | Skeet |
| Choke System | Remington |
| Material | 17-4 Stainless Steel |
| Finish | Precision Machined |
| End Design | Knurled |
Yes—the CARL Skeet choke tube is designed for all Remington 12-gauge choke systems. Make sure your shotgun has a removable choke tube system (not fixed chokes) and you're good to go.
The tube handles lead shot, steel shot, copperplated shot, nickel shot, and Hevi-Shotshells. One exception: don't use steel shot larger than BBS in choke constrictions tighter than Full.
The knurled end is designed for hand removal—no tools needed. Grip it firmly, twist counterclockwise to remove, and reverse the process to install. The constriction is laser-marked on the end so you always know which tube you're grabbing.
Yes. The longer parallel section in this tube produces tighter and denser patterns compared to flush-mount designs, which helps with pattern consistency downrange.
