The CARL Choke Tube 12GA IM Sporting Clays for Remington Shotguns is a precision-engineered choke tube built for shooters who demand consistent patterns downrange. If you run a Remington 12-gauge shotgun and want reliable, repeatable performance on clay targets or in the field, this intermediate modified (IM) constriction tube delivers the tighter patterns that separate good shooting from great shooting.
Built from 17-4 stainless steel and machined to exacting standards, this choke tube features a 25% larger parallel section than conventional designs—that extra length throws denser, more uniform shot patterns shot after shot. The knurled end makes removal quick and intuitive, even in cold weather or with gloved hands. A laser-marked constriction marking on the end eliminates guesswork about which tube you're running, keeping your setup straight whether you're swapping between patterns or sharing a gun with a shooting partner.
The IM constriction works well across a range of shot types: lead, steel, copperplated, nickel, and Hevi-Shotshells all pattern reliably through this tube. (Note: avoid steel shot larger than BBS in constrictions tighter than Full.) Backed by a lifetime warranty, this is a tube you can count on season after season, competition after competition.
| Gauge | 12 |
| Constriction | Improved Modified (IM) |
| Material | 17-4 Stainless Steel |
| Compatibility | Remington 12GA Choke Systems |
| End Style | Knurled |
Yes, this tube is designed to fit all Remington 12-gauge choke systems. If your gun accepts standard Remington choke tubes, this one will thread in and out smoothly.
Yes, steel shot works fine in this tube. However, avoid steel shot larger than BBS if you're using a constriction tighter than Full. The IM constriction on this tube is well-suited to standard steel shot sizes.
This choke tube has a longer parallel section than flush-mount designs, which results in tighter and denser patterns. If you're chasing tighter groupings, the extended parallel section gives you an edge.
The constriction is laser-marked on the end of the tube, so you can quickly see at a glance that you're running Improved Modified without having to remove it or consult notes.
