Canik
The Canik Mete MC9 Prime is a striker-fired 9mm sub-compact pistol built for shooters who need genuine stopping power in a carry-friendly package. This Turkish-made handgun brings serious performance to the micro-compact category—it's compact enough for IWB or appendix carry, yet substantial enough to shoot like a full-size on the range. The Mete MC9 Prime splits the difference between pocket-rocket limitations and full-frame bulk, making it a legitimate choice for self-defense, backup duty, or everyday carry without compromise.
The gun itself is a two-tone build: a serrated steel slide in black paired with a Flat Dark Earth polymer frame that ships with a Picatinny rail for mounting lights or lasers. The textured grip provides solid purchase in wet conditions or stressed situations, and the 3.64-inch barrel delivers enough velocity for defensive loads while keeping overall length to just 6.73 inches. It weighs 23.38 ounces unloaded—light enough to vanish in a quality holster but heavy enough to manage recoil and muzzle rise.
Night Fision tritium sights come factory-installed, front and rear, so you're ready to shoot in low light straight out of the box. The 17+1 capacity (17 in the magazine, one in the chamber) gives you a meaningful round count for a gun this size—more than you'd expect from a true pocket pistol. Canik includes two factory magazines, both 17-rounders, so you've got spares for the range or a reload-ready carry setup. The Picatinny rail opens options for modern defensive accessories without forcing proprietary mounts.

Yes. At 6.73 inches overall length and 23.38 ounces, it's compact enough for inside-the-waistband or appendix carry in most holsters designed for sub-compact 9mms. The slim 1.2-inch width and textured grip make it comfortable for extended wear.
The Picatinny rail built into the frame accepts standard rail-mounted lights and lasers. If you want to mount an optic, you'd need to either use a rail-mounted red dot on the accessory rail or explore slide-cut options through a gunsmith—the gun doesn't ship with a direct slide-mounted optic plate.
The Mete MC9 Prime carries 17 rounds in the magazine plus one in the chamber for a total of 18 rounds when fully loaded. Two 17-round magazines are included.
