The Cadex Defence X-Series rifle stock for short action Remington 700s is a precision chassis system built for shooters who demand rigidity, adjustability, and modularity in one platform. This right-hand, short-action model features a billet aluminum construction that transforms your factory rifle into a capable long-range or tactical setup without breaking the bank on a full-blown custom build. Whether you're dialing in at the range, competing in precision events, or setting up for field work, the X-Series delivers the mechanical advantage and ergonomic control serious shooters expect.
Built from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum and finished with a military-grade non-reflective coating, the X-Series combines durability with a clean, professional look. The stock itself features a PRO-series tool-free folding design that lets you adjust length of pull, cheek piece height, and recoil pad position without fumbling with wrenches—critical when you're fine-tuning your setup in the field or at the bench. The reversible folding mechanism uses an adjustable hinge system to eliminate play that develops over time, keeping your geometry solid through hundreds of rounds. An included neoprene cheek pad gives you consistency and comfort behind the gun.
Ergonomically, Cadex didn't cut corners. The oversized trigger guard and magazine release are gloved-hand friendly, and the finger-grooved rubberized grip provides dependable purchase even when conditions are wet or cold. The extra-long 15.5-inch M-LOK fore-end spans 11 side slots and 9 bottom slots, giving you plenty of real estate to mount lights, bipods, sling attachments, or other accessories without stacking them up. A detachable aluminum base keeps the action accessible for trigger work and maintenance while holding zero—no zero shift from repeated disassembly. The chassis supports optional tripod adapters, monopod rails, and night vision bridges, so you can expand the platform as your needs evolve.
This is a no-frills, purposeful stock for shooters who value adjustability and modularity over aesthetics alone. Pair it with your Remington 700 short action and you've got the foundation for a genuinely capable rifle.
