Butler Creek
The Butler Creek Highlander Sling with Swivels is a rifle carry sling built for hunters and shooters who want both functionality and a finished appearance. It combines the shock-absorbing design Butler Creek is known for with reinforced panels and finished edges that give it a more refined look than basic slings. The swivels are Uncle Mike's QD (quick-detach) units with Tri-Lock built in, allowing you to quickly attach or remove your rifle without tools. This is the black version.
What sets the Highlander apart is the attention to detail. Beyond the shock absorption that reduces fatigue on longer days, the reinforced construction means this sling handles regular use without fraying or coming apart at stress points. The non-slip grippers keep the sling from sliding around on your shoulder, which matters when you're moving through brush or transitioning between shooting positions.
Adjustment is straightforward—the sling adapts to fit different rifles and shooting styles without fussing with complicated hardware. Whether you're carrying a light .223 or a heavier magnum, you can dial in the length that works for your gun and your body. The QD swivels make it simple to swap between rifles or detach entirely when you need to pack light.
The Highlander comes equipped with Uncle Mike's QD (quick-detach) swivels featuring Tri-Lock. These allow you to rapidly attach or remove your rifle without additional tools.
The sling quickly adjusts for most rifles. As long as your rifle has QD attachment points (or can be fitted with them), the swivels will work with your gun.
The Butler Creek Highlander Sling comes with the sling itself and the Uncle Mike's QD swivels already attached.
Yes. The non-slip grippers are built into the sling to keep it from sliding around on your shoulder during hunting or shooting.
