Butch's 02906 Triple Twill Cotton Gun Cleaning Patches in .35-.45 caliber are a workhorse consumable for shooters who maintain their own firearms. These 2.25-inch square patches are made from triple-twill cotton—a tightly woven, durable fabric that holds solvent and abrasive compounds without shredding or leaving lint behind. The 500-pack gives you enough patches for serious, sustained cleaning without constantly reordering, making them ideal for hunters, range regulars, and anyone who shoots enough to care about keeping their bores in top shape.
Triple-twill construction is thicker and more resilient than single-ply alternatives, so patches stay intact as you push them through the bore with a jag or wrapped around a brush. That durability means less waste—you get more passes per patch and fewer fibers left inside your barrel. The .35-.45 caliber sizing fits popular hunting cartridges from .35 Remington through .45 ACP and .450 Bushmaster, covering everything from classic lever guns to modern AR builds and heritage handguns.
Whether you're breaking in a new rifle, maintaining a hunting gun between seasons, or doing a deep clean after a range day, having a deep stock of reliable patches on hand beats making emergency runs to the shop. Buy them by the case and you're set for the season.
| Caliber Range | .35–.45 Cal |
| Patch Size | 2.25 inches square |
| Material | Triple-twill cotton |
| Quantity per Pack | 500 |
| Brand | Butch's |
| Model | 02906 |
The 2.25-inch patches are sized for bores in the .35 to .45 caliber range. That includes common rifle cartridges like .35 Remington and .45-70, as well as centerfire handgun rounds such as .45 ACP and larger pistol calibers, plus modern cartridges like .450 Bushmaster.
Triple-twill weave is thicker and more tightly constructed than single-ply cotton, which means it resists shredding and leaves fewer lint particles inside your barrel. The durable fabric also holds solvents and oils longer without falling apart, so you get more effective cleaning passes per patch.
That depends on bore condition and how thoroughly you clean, but a 500-pack is designed to support regular maintenance cleanings throughout the season or year without restocking frequently. Many shooters find a single pack lasts several months of routine gun care.
The 2.25-inch square size works with standard bore cleaning tools including jags, patch loops, and brush attachments sold separately as part of most rifle and handgun cleaning kits.
