Bushnell
The Bushnell Trophy 3-9x40 rifle scope is a dependable all-purpose hunting optic built for the shooter who values clarity, ruggedness, and value. This 3-9x magnification scope with 40mm objective lens delivers the versatility you need whether you're glassing from a treestand in whitetail country or ranging cross-canyon in mule deer terrain. The matte finish won't glint in sunlight, and the DOA 600 CF reticle is calibrated for practical hunting distances where most shots happen—not just theoretical long-range fantasy.
You get legitimate tough-gun engineering here: fully multi-coated optics that let in 91% of available light, a one-piece tube with integrated saddle for solid mounting, and nitrogen-filled construction so fog and moisture never cloud your sight picture in humid mornings or temperature swings. The scope is waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof—it'll handle the bumps, branches, and weather that field hunting actually demands. Fast-focus eyepiece means you can dial in the reticle sharpness without fumbling, and the fingertip windage and elevation adjustments (¼ MOA per click) let you dial for range or wind without removing your hand far from the rifle.
At just 14.3 ounces and 12 inches long, this isn't a lightweight scope, but it's not a brick either—it balances nicely on mid-weight hunting rifles. The 4-inch eye relief keeps you safe from recoil, and the generous field of view at 3x power (38 feet at 100 yards) makes finding and tracking game intuitive. Fixed parallax means one less thing to adjust in the field, and the 60 MOA total adjustment range covers elevation and windage out to practical hunting ranges.
The Trophy is a no-nonsense scope for hunters who've learned that the fanciest optic doesn't matter if it's not built to survive real conditions. It's a solid choice for rifle hunters who want their glass to work as hard as they do.

The Bushnell Trophy 3-9x40 is a general-purpose hunting scope that works well for whitetail, mule deer, and other game hunted at typical rifle ranges. The 3x power is fast for finding game in brush or timber, and the 9x magnification extends your effective distance for open-country or longer-range hunting. It's versatile enough to use on multiple rifles across different terrain and seasons.
DOA stands for Dead On Arrival, and this reticle is calibrated for specific ballistic trajectories. The 600 CF designation indicates this particular reticle is zeroed for a common hunting scenario, with holdover points marked for distances where most big game hunting shots occur. Consult Bushnell's ballistics data to confirm it matches your rifle and ammunition combination.
The scope features a one-piece tube with an integrated saddle that accepts standard scope rings. You'll need rings compatible with a 1-inch tube diameter and a mounting length of 5.5 inches. Make sure your rifle's receiver is drilled and tapped for standard Picatinny or Weaver base systems.
Yes. The scope is filled with dry nitrogen, which prevents internal fogging in humidity, temperature swings, and elevation changes. Combined with its waterproof seals and construction, it's built to stay clear in the field conditions where hunters actually hunt.
