The Burris 2-7x32 handgun scope brings serious versatility to pistol-mounted optics. Whether you're running a red dot alternative or stepping up your handgun accuracy game, this nickel-finished scope delivers the long eye relief and compact footprint that pistol shooters need. At 2-7x magnification, you get enough zoom to reach out to distance targets while staying nimble for closer work—perfect for hunting, competitive shooting, or defensive setups where a traditional rifle scope won't fit.

Burris engineered this optic around what handgun shooters actually demand: eye relief that won't beat you up during recoil, lightweight construction that doesn't throw off your balance, and glass that performs in varied light. The index-matched multi-coated lens system cuts glare and boosts contrast, so you get a clear sight picture whether you're shooting in bright sun or overcast conditions. At just 13 ounces and under 10 inches long, it won't bulk up your platform or tax your wrist strength.

The Plex reticle is simple and effective—a centered crosshair with thicker outer portions that frame your target without cluttering the view. You get a full 64 inches of adjustment capability in both elevation and windage at 100 yards, with quarter-inch clicks for precise dialing. The rear focal plane design means the reticle stays the same apparent size across all magnifications, keeping holdovers intuitive.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this handgun scope work on my pistol-mounted rail?

The 1-inch tube diameter is the industry standard and will fit any handgun scope mount designed for a 1-inch optic. Make sure your rail and mount are compatible with 1-inch tubes. Always verify fit with your specific platform before ordering.

What's the eye relief like for shooting with a handgun?

Eye relief ranges from 11 to 21 inches depending on magnification—11-21 inches at low power and 10-14 inches at high power. This extended relief is built for pistol recoil and won't smack you in the face the way a traditional rifle scope would.

Can I use this scope for both hunting and target shooting?

Yes. The 2-7x range, compact form factor, and solid adjustment capability make it useful for hunting, competition, and range work with handgun-mounted optics.

How does the Plex reticle perform at different magnifications?

The Plex is a rear focal plane design, which means the reticle stays the same size in the scope view regardless of magnification. You won't need to adjust your holdover strategy when you zoom—it's intuitive and reliable across the 2-7x range.
