Buckeye Baits
The Buckeye Magnum Spot Remover jig head in 3/4oz Green Pumpkin is purpose-built for anglers targeting spotted bass, deep-water largemouth, and smallmouth in a variety of conditions. This shakey-style jig head combines a razor-sharp Gamakatsu long-shank hook with a flat-head design that lets your soft plastics—craws, worms, and creature baits—stand vertically for an irresistible presentation. The heavy-duty hook construction means you'll land solid fish without worrying about bending or breaking, even when you're working dense cover or pulling hard on bigger fish.
Where this jig head really shines is rigging versatility. The screw-lock keeper system replaces a traditional post, giving you precise control over bait positioning and making it quick to swap plastics between casts. That level of control matters when you're fine-tuning your presentation or experimenting with different soft-plastic colors and profiles to match the forage in your water.
Green Pumpkin is a proven natural color that imitates crawfish and other bottom-dwelling forage in clear to moderately stained water. At 3/4oz, this head is heavy enough for deeper presentations and allows you to maintain bottom contact and feel structure, yet light enough for responsive, natural-looking action when you're shaking the jig through brush, rocks, and irregular bottom.

The Magnum Spot Remover is designed specifically for spotted bass, and also works well for deepwater largemouth and smallmouth bass. It's an excellent choice for precision bottom work and structure fishing.
The flat-head design and screw-lock keeper work best with crawfish imitations and worms. These baits stand vertically on the jig, which maximizes the appeal of the presentation. You can experiment with different profiles and sizes based on what's available in your fishery.
Yes. The 3/4oz weight is designed to get down quickly to deeper structure while still allowing you to maintain bottom contact and feel what you're fishing through—critical for the shaking, reaction-based technique this jig head is made for.
The screw-lock keeper gives you more precise control over where your soft plastic sits on the hook compared to a fixed post. It also makes it faster and easier to rig different baits or colors, so you can adapt quickly on the water without fumbling with the jig head.
