Browning
The Browning Tube Std Inv Midas Black Full 28 is an extended choke tube built for 28 gauge shotguns running Browning's Standard Invector system. If you shoot a 28 gauge Browning and want tighter constriction at the muzzle without breaking the bank on premium aftermarket tubes, the Midas Grade delivers solid performance with a professional fit and finish. The Full choke constriction pattern works well for hunting scenarios where you need denser pellet concentration downrange, whether you're working through tight cover or engaging birds at moderate distance.
What sets this tube apart from budget alternatives is the engineering underneath: stainless steel construction with a black oxide finish resists corrosion and wear, while the laser-etched chrome accent band makes identification quick and reliable in the field. The extended design pushes beyond the barrel, so you can grab and swap tubes without fumbling for tools—a practical advantage when conditions shift between shots. The minimum gap geometry and high-resolution RMS finish work together to reduce plastic and powder fouling in the bore, keeping your shotgun cleaner and more reliable over a day of shooting.
Keep in mind this is a Standard Invector tube only; it will not fit other Invector-Plus systems or shotguns with different choke architectures. The flat choke tube wrench common to many shotgun kits is not compatible with Midas Grade tubes, so confirm your removal method before you head afield. For hunters and sport shooters who have committed to a 28 gauge Browning platform, a properly matched choke tube is one of the easiest tuning variables available.
| Gauge | 28 |
| Choke System | Browning Standard Invector |
| Constriction | Full |
| Grade | Midas |
| Material | Stainless Steel |
| Finish | Black Oxide with Laser-Etched Chrome Band |
| Design | Extended (beyond barrel) |
This tube is designed exclusively for Browning Standard Invector 28 gauge shotguns. It will not fit Invector-Plus systems, other gauges, or non-Browning shotguns. Verify your shotgun's choke system before purchasing.
No. The flat choke tube wrench commonly included with shotguns is not compatible with Midas Grade Extended choke tubes. The extended design allows you to remove and install the tube by hand without a wrench.
Full choke provides the tightest constriction available, keeping shot patterns dense at distance. This works well for hunting scenarios where you need concentrated pellet placement, such as pass shooting or working birds in open cover.
The high-resolution RMS finish and minimum gap geometry are designed to reduce plastic wad and powder fouling inside your bore, helping keep your shotgun cleaner and more reliable throughout a day of shooting.
