Browning
The Browning Tube Inv+ Midas Black Mod 20 is an extended choke tube built for 20-gauge Invector-Plus shotguns that want a no-fuss upgrade from flush-mount tubes. If you're running Browning's Invector-Plus system and tired of fumbling with recessed chokes, this modified constriction tube extends cleanly beyond the barrel, making swaps and cleaning a genuine convenience in the field or at the range. The stainless steel body with black oxide finish stands up to use and weathering, while the gold accent band stamped into the tube keeps things looking sharp.
Pattern density matters when you're hunting. This Midas tube leverages Invector-Plus long-taper geometry and a high-resolution RMS finish to tighten your shot patterns beyond what a flush Invector-Plus tube delivers—the engineering reduces plastic fouling in the bore so performance stays consistent across multiple shots. It's the kind of detail that separates a tube that just fits from one that actually improves your gun's on-target reliability.
One critical note: Invector-Plus tubes are engineered for Browning shotguns marked Invector-Plus on the barrel. They will not work in shotguns stamped Standard Invector or Invector-DS. Before ordering, confirm your gun's choke system on the barrel itself. If you've got an Invector-Plus 20 and want tighter patterns with the convenience of an extended tube, this Midas build delivers both.
| Brand | Browning |
| Gauge | 20 |
| Choke System | Invector-Plus |
| Constriction | Modified (Mod) |
| Material | Stainless steel with black oxide finish |
| Design Type | Extended (beyond-barrel) |
The Browning Tube Inv+ Midas Black Mod 20 is designed only for 20-gauge Browning shotguns marked Invector-Plus on the barrel. It will not fit shotguns with Standard Invector or Invector-DS systems. Check your barrel marking before purchasing.
This extended tube sticks out past the barrel, making it much easier to grip and unscrew by hand in the field. It also produces tighter shot patterns than Browning's flush Invector-Plus tubes, thanks to the optimized Invector-Plus long-taper geometry and high-resolution RMS finish that reduces bore fouling.
Yes. The Modified constriction is a versatile choice for upland hunting and clay sports. The tighter pattern control and durability of the stainless steel construction make it reliable in the field.
The laser-etched gold accent band is functional identification—it helps you quickly spot and identify the Modified constriction at a glance when you're managing multiple tubes, plus it looks good on a quality shotgun.
