Browning
When you're serious about waterfowl hunting, weather is part of the game. The Browning Rain Shell Jacket in Auric Camo is purpose-built to keep you dry and functional during wet conditions, whether you're glassing a marsh at first light or waiting out a downpour in your blind. Part of the Wicked Wing lineup, this rain jacket combines a Pre-Vent Plus waterproof/breathable membrane with fully-taped seams and a durable outer shell to handle the unpredictable conditions that come with duck and goose hunting.
The jacket's design reflects real hunting priorities. It's tough enough to brush through cattails and timber without tearing, and the DWR (durable water-repellent) coating adds an extra layer of moisture resistance on top of the Pre-Vent Plus membrane. Water-resistant zippers seal the front and hand pockets, and the three-piece adjustable hood lets you dial in fit and coverage without sacrificing visibility or hearing. When conditions improve, the entire jacket compresses and stuffs into its own left-hand pocket, so you're not saddled with extra weight in your pack.
Versatility is built in. Wear it solo as a lightweight shell, or layer it over insulating gear when the temperature drops and the rain keeps coming. The Browning X-Change System compatibility means compatible insulating layers from the Wicked Wing collection zip in directly, turning this jacket into a modular system you can adapt to seasonal conditions. The elastic adjustable hem and hook-and-loop cuff closures seal out wind and moisture while maintaining the mobility you need when swinging on birds.
