Browning
The Browning BAR ShortTrac magazine is a factory replacement for shooters running the BAR ShortTrac platform in .270 WSM, 7mm WSM, or .300 WSM. If you own one of these capable short-action magnums and need a reliable backup magazine or are simply restocking after years in the field, this steel magazine delivers the dependable feed you expect from Browning's rifle line. Built to the same exacting standards as your rifle, it's a straightforward way to keep extra rounds ready without the guesswork of aftermarket alternatives.
This 3-round capacity magazine is constructed from steel and finished in a durable steel blue that resists corrosion and blends seamlessly with your BAR. The offset feed design has proven reliable across thousands of hunting seasons, and the compact profile doesn't add unnecessary bulk to your rig. Whether you're working up loads on the bench or heading into elk country, having a factory magazine on hand eliminates compatibility doubt.
Browning magazines are engineered to the same tolerances as the rifles they feed, so you won't waste time troubleshooting feeding issues or babying a finicky aftermarket part. At 6.4 ounces, it's light enough that carrying a spare is never a burden. If your BAR ShortTrac has been good to you, keeping factory magazines in rotation is solid insurance against wear and the occasional lost mag on a remote access road.
