The Browning Buck Mark Plus Vision Blue Shoal is a blowback-operated .22 LR autoloader built for shooters who want a tack-driving, suppressor-ready rimfire pistol without compromise. This 2023 SHOT Show special combines a purpose-built Vision barrel with modern ergonomics and optics-ready steel, making it equally at home on the range, in a competition, or running subsonic loads through a suppressor. If you shoot .22s seriously—whether for precision work, small-game hunting, or high-volume practice—the Buck Mark Plus Vision delivers the kind of build quality and refinement that separates a Browning from the crowd.

The star here is the Vision barrel: a hybrid design that pairs a stress-relieved steel core with a tensioned blue aluminum outer sleeve machined for a distinctive look and reduced overall weight. That engineering buys you accuracy and longevity without the heft. The 1/2-28 TPI suppressor-ready threads (protector included) let you go quiet without buying a new gun, and the Picatinny rail on top gives you a clean platform for a red dot, low-power scope, or laser—your call. The adjustable rear sight and fiber-optic front sight are there if you want them, but this gun really shines with glass.

Ergonomics matter on a .22, and Browning got it right. The black UFX grips feature rubberized overmolding for a secure, comfortable purchase through rapid fire or long range sessions. The receiver is finished in blue anodize, matching the barrel sleeve for a unified, professional look. You get one 10-round magazine and a pistol rug to keep it clean in the safe or truck.

Is this good for hunting or just range shooting?

The Buck Mark Plus Vision is versatile. Its precision barrel, optics-ready rail, and manageable .22 LR ballistics make it suitable for small-game hunting, competitive rimfire shooting, and high-volume target practice.
