Brownells
A magazine follower is a critical internal component that sits atop your shotgun's spring and lifts rounds into the receiver as you cycle the action. The Brownells Follower For Remington 870/1100/1187, 20 Gauge is engineered specifically for these three popular Remington shotgun models in 20-gauge configuration. Whether you're a clay competitor, upland hunter, or defensive shotgun enthusiast, a worn or damaged follower can cause feeding problems and reliability issues—this OEM-pattern replacement restores your gun to like-new function.
Built from aluminum and finished in black, this follower is a direct fit for Remington 870, 1100, and 1187 shotguns chambered in 20 gauge. It's a wear item that often gets overlooked during routine maintenance but makes a measurable difference in smooth, consistent feeding. If you've noticed sluggish shell advancement or occasional jams, or if you're simply performing a complete magazine tube refresh, this Brownells part delivers the reliability and precision fit Remington shooters expect.
Installation is straightforward—remove your magazine cap, spring, and old follower, drop in the new one, and reassemble. Keep a spare on hand for preventive maintenance, or grab one as part of a broader shotgun rebuild. Brownells followers are trusted by gunsmiths and shooters nationwide for OEM-quality replacement parts that don't compromise on fit or function.
