Brownells
The Brownells AR-15 modular gas block rail puts professional-grade accessory mounting within reach of every builder and tinkerer. Unlike a standard gas block, this unit combines a fixed integral rail with a modular system that lets you add up to three detachable Picatinny rails to the sides and bottom—giving you the flexibility to mount lights, lasers, backup iron sights, night vision optics, or other tactical gear without committing to a permanent setup. Pull apart what you don't need, snap on what the mission demands.
Built from 6061 billet aluminum, the gas block is precision-machined to handle the rigors of the range or field while keeping weight off your rifle. Three hardened steel setscrews secure it firmly to your barrel, ensuring rock-solid indexing. The side and bottom rail modules each attach with just two screws, so swapping configurations takes minutes, not an armorer's toolkit.
Whether you're fine-tuning a dedicated hunting rifle, setting up a short-range plinker, or building a modular rifle that adapts to different roles, this modular approach beats buying multiple gas blocks or settling for a monolithic design that forces you to carry weight you don't use. It's the kind of practical versatility that appeals to shooters who like to experiment and evolve their builds.

The Picatinny rails accept lights, lasers, night vision optics, backup iron sights, and other tactical accessories designed for standard Picatinny mounting. Specific compatibility depends on the accessory's mounting system.
Each modular rail (available for the sides and bottom) installs with two screws, so you can add or swap them without disassembling the gas block itself. This lets you reconfigure your setup quickly depending on your needs.
The gas block is secured to the barrel with three hardened steel setscrews. Compatibility depends on your barrel diameter and installation method. Verify fit with your specific barrel before purchase.
